The U.S. Department of Labor encourages affirmative actions to employ covered veterans and to advance covered veterans in employment. Federal contractors and subcontractors with a contract in the amount of $150,000 or more during 2019 with any department of the U.S. government must report on their affirmative action initiatives to employ veterans. While the 2020 EEO-1 deadline was extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the required VETS filing was not delayed and VETS-4212 must be filed by September 30, 2020. Information in the filing is provided by job category, hiring location, and new hire status.

The VETS-4212 filing site is now open and closes September 30, 2020. To access the filing site, click here.
