The government’s Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute issued a list of the top 25 most dangerous software weaknesses. The list identifies frequent and critical errors that can lead to software vulnerabilities. If software is vulnerable, attackers can take control of a system, obtain information, and create other cyber-risks.
The list, which may be accessed by clicking here, can help software developers, testers and users get insight into weaknesses and develop mitigations to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
