Q.- An employee has a dependent day care flexible spending account plan and wants to be reimbursed for the cost of summer school for his children. Is this allowed?

A.- The cost of summer school or other educational program is not an eligible dependent day care expense. However, the cost of a day camp may be for the care of a qualifying individual and may be eligible for reimbursement from a dependent day care FSA, even if the camp specializes in a particular activity.
