Q.- Do we have to pay a PCORI fee for our FSA by 7/31?

A.- Self-insured plans that provide only excepted benefits, such as plans that offer benefits limited to vision or dental, only, and most flexible spending account plans, are not subject to the PCORI fee.  You should consult your legal counsel if your FSA has a unique plan design that would remove it from being considered an excepted benefit.
