Q.- Can Botox be reimbursed from a health flexible spending account plan?

A.- Maybe. Botox can be for cosmetic purposes, or it can be for a medical purpose, such as for treatment for migraine headaches. Before Botox will be reimbursed from a health FSA, the participant must be able to provide a letter of medical necessity from a health care provider. This letter will show that the Botox is medically necessary to treat a medical condition.
