Las Vegas Casino Announces Breach

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas announced that hackers stole payment card and personal information from its computer systems. According to its website, the incident may have allowed hackers to access information about credit or debit cards used at retail and service locations. The impacted information included names, card numbers, CVV codes, but not PIN numbers. 

The Casino found malware on its computer systems. The breach occurred with respect to transactions between September 3, 2014 and April 2, 2015. The Casino is offering free credit reporting services to impacted individuals. More information can be found here.
