The IRS is holding a webcast addressing basic fiduciary responsibilities for operating a health plan. The webcast is intended for medium and small sized employers.
The purpose of the webcast is to increase awareness and understanding of how the fiduciary responsibility provision of ERISA apply to employer-sponsored plans and how to avoid common problems in managing a plan. The program will discuss reporting and disclosure requirements, fiduciary responsibilities for a health plan and qualified medical child support orders.
