The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice released guidance documents to be used in implementing the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015.  CISA is intended to increase communication between the private sector and the U.S. government about cyber security threats.

Companies that share cybersecurity information must follow the new guidance document in order to be able claim liability protections available under CISA.  The guidance documents provide instructions and mechanisms for providing information to the government.
