The U.S. Department of Labor issued a directive to promote enforcement of federal contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity laws.

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regularly audits federal contractors to identify and address compliance with EEOC laws. The new directive gives updated guidance on the evaluation policies the OFCCP will use and renewed expectations for federal contractors. The stated goal of the directive is to strengthen compliance evaluations and reduce delays in addressing matters. It also plans to reach a broader population of federal contractors. The directive sets forth expectations for federal contractors relating to producing affirmative action programs and support data.

The directive is available here.
