In some situations, employers need to retroactively adjust benefit enrollment data for employees. MyEnroll.com is equipped to manage retroactivity seamlessly and without administrator assistance. Retroactivity can be managed whether such transactions are initiated through data feeds from the employer (e.g., terminations in a payroll file) or through online administrator processing (e.g., new hires being added retroactively).

MyEnroll.com establishes process rules for employer retroactivity. For example, rules can be set up to monitor new hire waiting periods and insurers’ limitations on retroactivity.

When MyEnroll.com is providing data feeds to an employer’s payroll system, the files will include the payroll system’s required mapping of transaction codes and application of retroactive dates. This allows for proper retroactive adjustments within the payroll system.
