The U.S. Department of Labor issued guidance on return-to-work protocol with respect to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). These acts regulate sick leave and family leave for employees.

The guidance includes a Fact Sheet for Employees, a Fact Sheet for Employers, and a Questions and Answers Document. Along with the fact sheets, the Department of Labor has issued two guidance posters, questions and answers about posting requirements and quick benefits tips to determine how much paid leave may be taken under FFCRA.
