The U.S. Department of Labor provides government resources, tools and publications of interest to women in the workforce.

The Working Women’s Clearinghouse, which may be accessed here, offers information on the following topics:

  • Looking for a job
  • Having a job
  • Leaving a job
  • Statistics and data
  • Workplace rights.

The Clearinghouse also consolidates information on equal pay and transparency protections, pregnancy/breastfeeding rights; and women protecting, building and moving America.

Women may face specific challenges in the workplace, and government resources are available to provide guidance on some of these issues.
