Q.- Who is considered a “child” under a dependent care FSA?

A.- A child includes a son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter and eligible foster child. An eligible foster child is one who is placed with the employee by a placement agency or by a judgment, decree or court order. An adopted child is considered the same as a child by blood.
