Q.- What is the difference between a copay and coinsurance and are both eligible for reimbursement from a health FSA?

A.- A copay is an amount set by your health plan that you pay for services. Coinsurance is a percentage of a medical charge that you pay for health services, usually after you meet your plan’s deductible. Both types of expenses are eligible for reimbursement from a health FSA.
