Q- One of our employees wants to be reimbursed from his health FSA for acne spot treatment. Is this an eligible expense?
A.- If the acne treatment is prescribed by a physician, it will be eligible to be reimbursed from his health FSA. He will need a prescription for proper substantiation even if he purchases the acne treatment over the counter without needing a prescription for purchase.
