Q. I know Labor Day is a federal holiday.  Do we have to pay our employees if they do not work on this day? 

A.- Probably not.  The Department of Labor does not require employers to offer paid vacation.  However, you may have established different polices to address paid time off by your employees.  Consult your policies.
