BAS’ Cobra Control Services (CCS) is actively collecting qualifying event reasons for administration of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) COBRA premium subsidy. Certain individuals who have a COBRA qualifying event of reduction in hours or involuntary termination of employment may be eligible for full-subsidized COBRA or state continuation of coverage between April 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021 if they are not eligible for other health coverage and meet certain other requirements.

CCS has emailed employers asking them to log into MyEnroll360 to see each individual whose qualifying event requires additional information. The employer must identify, for each individual, whether the termination of employment/reduction in hours qualifying event is voluntary or involuntary. CCS needs this information to send qualified beneficiaries the appropriate forms required under the ARP.

If you received an email asking you to manage the qualifying event reason for your continuants, please complete the request as soon as possible. If you do not have the email, you can log into MyEnroll360 and access the module by clicking the button “COBRA Qualifying Event Reason Manager.” If you have questions, contact info@cobracontrol.com.
