Billing and Collection Line Item Configuration

Employers with BAS location billing services can ask BAS to set up billing line items to fit their needs. For example, BAS has added a “priest pension” billing line item to a religious client’s monthly location invoice. The employer will bill a set monthly amount for each priest at each assigned location. BAS collects the priest pension payment obligation along with other regular billable premiums (medical, dental, life, etc.). At the employer’s request, the receipt allocation hierarchy has been modified so that location payments apply to priest pension accounts first with the remainder applied to the other benefit accounts.
