Employers who currently hand-key new employee records into multiple systems, such as a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Payroll System and MyEnroll.com, risk data entry errors as well as increased human capital. Payroll/HRIS Import and Export Services from BAS can eliminate redundant data entry, reducing errors and time.

Go From This.... To This....

Payroll/HRIS Import

BAS can accept a Payroll Import file to add new employee records, update existing employee demographic information, and change benefit eligibility status when an employee’s work status changes. We can also use the import to terminate separated employees and launch COBRA or continuation of coverage notices (if contracted). While BAS has a standard import file specification, we can also work with your payroll vendor or IT Department to accept a file in their standard format and convert the file for importing in to MyEnroll.com.

Payroll Export

Many employers require that employees contribute toward the cost of benefits through payroll deductions. However, changes to benefit elections made during the year can be difficult to quality control, and data entry after Open Enrollment can be time-consuming. Instead of having staff update benefit deductions into payroll systems manually, BAS can provide employers or their payroll companies with a Payroll Export file. BAS will work with your payroll vendor to create a file that meets specifications for quick and simple importing of employee deductions.
