The United States Postal Service reported a cyberattack that impacted the Social Security Numbers and health records of 800,000 USPS employees. A copy of the USPS informational release is available here.

A USPS file containing SSN, date of birth, address, and injury claim data was hacked, along with certain call center data. It does not appear that any customer data was implicated. The FBI is investigating the incident, and employees are being offered free credit monitoring for a year.
