The FBI has re-released its “Safe Online Surfing (SOS) Internet Challenge” to help students use the Internet securely. With an increase of cyber-crimes, it is important for people of all ages to understand how to keep information secure.

The SOS Internet Challenge teaches web terminology and how to recognize secure and trustworthy sites. Lessons also include how to protect personal details online, create strong passwords, avoid viruses, avoid scams, be wary of strangers, and be a good virtual citizen.

The program is open to students of all ages but there is a registration process.
