Q.- We use the lookback method for determining full-time status for our employees. We have a part-time employee who worked 140 hours this month. Do we have to give him health coverage now?

A.- If he is in your plan’s stability period, he may continue to be considered a part-time employee not eligible for health coverage even if his hours went over 130 for this month.
