Q.- Last year, we amended our health FSA to allow reimbursements of menstrual products and over-the-counter drugs without a prescription. Was this allowed just for the 2020 plan year or is this a change we can keep going forward?

A.- The IRS’ guidance allowing for the reimbursement of menstrual products and over-the-counter drugs without a prescription was not limited to the 2020 plan year. Your health FSA can continue to allow reimbursement of these products.
