Q.- A former employee has been on COBRA for 12 months. He cancelled his COBRA coverage at the end of November and enrolled in individual coverage starting December 1. He received his first bill and it was more than he thought. He now wants to re-enroll in COBRA coverage. Do we have to let him?

A.- No. Once an employee cancels COBRA and enrolls in other coverage, a plan does not have to let him re-enroll in COBRA.
