Q.- An employee is going to become a temporary foster parent for a child. Does this allow her to disenroll from our health FSA?

A.- Probably not. Becoming a foster parent is not an IRS-recognized mid-year change event and even if it were, disenrolling in health FSA coverage would not be consistent with the event.
