Q.- Are we required to cover children on our dental plan up to age 26?

A.- No. The Affordable Care Act requires employers to allow children to stay on a parent’s medical plan until age 26. This requirement applies to medical coverage and does not extend to a stand-alone dental plan offered by an employer.
