Q.- We offer medical and dental coverage separately. A former employee continued medical, only. Does he have the ability to add dental coverage under COBRA at our open enrollment?
A.- Yes, if the option to add dental coverage is available to active employees at open enrollment. The same open enrollment rights that are given to active employees must be given to COBRA continuants.
