Q.- I am an insurance broker with a company that is completely going out of business. Do they have to offer COBRA to their terminated employees?

A.- If the company is completely out of business, and no affiliated company remains that sponsors a group health plan, there will be no company to provide the COBRA coverage. Therefore, there will be no COBRA notice needed.
