Q.- Do we have to offer coverage up to age 26 for children under our dental plan?

A.- No. The Affordable Care Act’s mandate to provide coverage for adult children applies to medical plans- not to excepted benefits. A stand-alone dental plan is an excepted benefit for ACA purposes.
