The IRS released an updated Publication 5164 which is the Test Package for ACA filing for the 2022 processing year. This document provides scenarios that ACA transmitters must have approved before sending files to the IRS. A copy of the Publication may be accessed by clicking here.
Each year, ACA Transmitters and Software Developers must apply to the IRS for approval to submit ACA information. The approval process requires testing of various software scenarios. Completion of testing ensures the IRS can receive and process the 1094-B/C information and developers/transmitters can send data and receive acknowledgements.
