HSA/HDHP Limits for 2015

The Internal Revenue Service issued 2015 limits for health savings accounts (HSAs) and their associated high deductible health plans (HDHPs).  The limits increased based on inflation and cost of living.
 
The limits are as follows:

  • HSA Contribution Limit (employer + employee):  $3,350 individual; $6,650 family
  • HSA Catch-Up Contribution Limit:  $1,000
  • HDHP Minimum Deductible: $1,300 individual; $2,600 family
  • HDHP Maximum Out of Pocket Amount: $6,450 individual; $12,900 family

These new limits take effect in 2015.
