On April 1, 2021, BAS’ Cobra Control Services (CCS) sent an email to all CCS clients and their brokers (if applicable) directing them to log into MyEnroll360 and identify their COBRA population’s qualifying events as voluntary or involuntary termination of employment.  If you have not completed your selections, please do so immediately.  You may log into MyEnroll.com and under Quick Links (section on right side of page with large blue button), click “COBRA Qualifying Event Reason Manager” to make your selections.  If a voluntary/involuntary indication is not identified for any individual in your organization’s list in MyEnroll.com, CCS will take that as your direction that the person’s qualifying event reason was voluntary and the individual is not eligible for the ARPA COBRA premium subsidy and/or a new COBRA election period.

It is very important for all qualifying events to be properly coded so employers are not subject to excise tax penalties for failing to send required notices.

If you need assistance identifying qualifying events reasons, contact your account manager or email info@cobracontrol.com.
