Q.- An employee is working full time, but he has elected Medicare Part A and is on Social Security. Can the employee participate in our health FSA?

A.- While it would depend on the terms of your plan, the answer is probably yes. If the person is an active employee and otherwise eligible for benefits, the fact that he is on Medicare and receiving Social Security should have no impact on his eligibility to participate in the FSA.
