The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has once again delayed the collection of 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 data. The new timeframe is the Fall of 2023 which is a delay from the original collection date of April 2023 and the first delayed date of July 2023.

All private sector employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees (meeting certain criteria) must submit demographic workforce data to the EEOC. This data includes information about employees by race/ethnicity, sex and job classification. The data is submitted to the EEOC through an online data collection tool.

The EEOC has delayed the collection date for reasons relating to required renewals by the Office of Management and Budget. Information about filing will be posted here https://www.eeocdata.org/eeo1 when the site is open and accepting submissions.
