Q.- We have a fully insured health plan. Do we still need to distribute a Medicare Part D Notice of Creditable Coverage?

A.- Yes, if you have Medicare-eligible employees or dependents in your workforce. Employers and unions that sponsor group health plans are responsible for distributing the Medicare Part D Notice of Creditable Coverage to Medicare-eligible employees and dependents whether the plan is insured or self-funded.
