Q.- Does a COBRA disability extension apply to dental and vision coverage, or is it for medical/Rx only?

A.- A COBRA 11-month disability extension applies to any coverage continued under COBRA, including medical, prescription, dental and vision. Not only does it apply to all coverages continued under COBRA, but the extension also applies to all qualified beneficiaries with COBRA coverage, including the employee/former employee, covered spouse and covered dependents.
