Q.- If an employee is involuntarily terminated, elects the ARP COBRA subsidy, is offered their job back but declines the job offer, would that cut off their right to the subsidy?

A.- It is our understanding that an offer of employment that an individual does not accept would not cut off the person’s right to the ARPA COBRA premium subsidy. This would be the case even if the employment offer (if accepted) would have included the right to health coverage.
