Benefit Allocation Systems, through its BASCares volunteer initiative, joined people around the globe in charitable work on November 27th “Giving Tuesday.” BASCares team members hosted a donation-based bake sale to raise money for Techgirlz. Techgirlz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the gender gap in technology occupations by focusing on girls at the crucial middle school age.
BAS employees donated in two ways. First, they baked or purchased baked goods for the sale. Second, they made as-you-wish donations to purchase the baked good treats.
