National Cyber Security Awareness Month

October has been designated by the Department of Homeland Security as National Cyber Security Awareness Month. 

The National Cyber Security Alliance is releasing a series of tips to help people protect themselves online and increase cybersecurity awareness.  The first tip addresses protecting online accounts.  At https://www.lockdownyourlogin.com/, consumers can get information from the NCSA about using a security key, and using a biometric or one-time code to establish multi-factor authentication for accessing websites.
