BREAKING NEWS: Government Issues SBC and Uniform Glossary Template to Describe Health Coverage

BREAKING NEWS: Continuing on the path of implementing health care reform, the Departments of Health and Human Services, Treasury and Labor jointly issued a template for the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) and Uniform Glossary required by the Affordable Care Act. The SBC and Uniform Glossary are intended to give consumers clear, consistent and comparable information about health plan benefits and coverage. Health insurers and group health plans must provide the information by September 23, 2012.
